We welcome boats and trailers. However, they need to be stored in your garage. Our covenants prohibit trailers to be on your lot, which includes your driveway. There are multiple location near Stonefield to store your boats or trailers. However, if you store your boat, trailer or RV, we understand you will need time to load and unload for recreational purposes. We allow up to 48 hours to load and unload for camping, fishing or any recreational activities, not personal or business. Once you arrive back, we allow up to 48 hours to unload. There should not be a boat, trailer or RV in a resident’s driveway for more than 48 hours. This is approved unanimously by the Board.

Regarding RV’s, we’re sorry, but the City doesn’t allow RV’s in the street or yard and we do not allow RV’s on your lot, which includes your driveway. See above on allowing loading and unloading.

The City of Fort Wayne states “Residential streets generally take 48 hours to plow, assuming we can stay at it and do not have to move back to priority one or two streets”. With that being said, we contract out to take care of our Community as safety is our # 1 priority. Once our streets have 2 inches of snow, our plow company will be out to start plowing. After plowing, they will salt Stonefield Drive.

Safety

At this time, we do not have security cameras, but our board members do walks and drives. Also, we are looking into cameras as Safety and Security is our top priority and our neighboring community has cameras. In addition, the city will be installing 2 new light posts at both entrances.

Click Here for FREE Fire Safety Activity Book for ALL Ages.

Please contact 311 to report a street light out as these are the property of the city. They will ask you for the letters/numbers listed on the pole and the location. The City is aware they need to come out and replace some of the letters/numbers on their light post as they have fallen off throughout the years..
